Syria unrest: Damascus "suicide blasts" kill dozens

"Twin suicide car-bomb attacks have killed at least 55 people and wounded 372 in Damascus, Syrian officials say.

The blasts happened near a military intelligence building during morning rush hour. State TV showed burnt cars and two deep craters in the road.

The government and the opposition blamed each other for the attack - the deadliest in Damascus since the start of Syria's uprising 14 months ago.

The two sides are supposed to observe a ceasefire monitored by a UN team."



In my opinion I think that the situation in this country is very violent because this country is at war.

I understand that these people are against the Government and for this reason are revealed with the Government. Although then the Government has a very violent reaction and attacks people, and the consequences of this, many people die and this seems shameful.
The objective of the Government is to have the subject people an it has all the power.

In conclusion I believe that we should be happy with what we have, because in countries like Syria it is very sad.

The king breaks a hip when hunting elephants in Botsuana

The king broke a hip hunting elephants in Botsuana. This has caused some important problems, first; that the king has had eight operations during the 74 years of his lifes and the other problem is the image of Juan Carlos devoted to hunting in an African country in one of the worst weeks of recent Spanish economic history and at a delicate moment for the Royal family with Iñaki Undangarín scandal and the accident of Froilán, the grandson of the monarch.

In my opinion, I find it very shameful what has happened because I think that this is not normal. I believe that it is shameful that the king practiced hunting, a violent activity, while Spain is one of the worst moments of history. Also I find it shameful that our money is spent to hunt animals, and specially, at this time of crisi is happening Spain. While there are people who have not a home and who is dying, it is illogical that the king spent 20000 euros to practice a frightening activity.

In conclusion, I think that if the king continues to make these illogical things, Spain will go increasingly worse.

Packets of tobacco in the USA don't have pictures of the consequences of smoking

"A Washington judg has rejected the order requiring tobacco companies to put harsh images on packets of cigarrettes about the dangerous of smoking. The judge considers that this is a lack of freedom of expression."

When was passed the anti-tobacco law they began doing these kinds of cigarette packets.
In my opinion, on one hand, I agree with this because this way if you buy tobacco and you see these photos a some time this could provocate an emotional response and this is what they want the photos to do.

On the other hand, I disagree about this case because doing this cause that people may not have freedom of expression and if they want to smoke they won't change. Also I disagree because I think that these photos are very sad.

In conclusion, I believe that if you want to stop smoking you must do it yourself and eventhough society can influence, people do what they want.

Jorge Miranda is twenty-nine years old and seven years ago he began to harass 250 children over the network. The police said that he threatened to kill the girls they did not record nude and send their videos.

In my opinion, nowadays I think that it is very dangerous because there are a lot of social networks and these can be dangerous.
However science has come a long way in this aspect but also this may affect society.
Really, I believe that parents should pay more attention to their children like for example they should not let a child of ten years have a facebook or not to let him go into much to social reds because I think that children from 13 up to 17 years aren't able to think as on older person and can be deceived very easily.
With reference to this new I think that this man deserves to be in prison because he is very sick.

In conclusion, people should to be more careful with the internet in general.

Whitney Houston dies

The last 12 of February Whitney Houston  died at night in Los Ángeles. They said that they found her in the room and she was dead but there were no signs of violence.

In my opinion, I believe that she died from drugs because she had been taking drugs for some time. Nowadays this case is more common and this should change because in this way people would be happier and probably there wouldn't be so many problems.
Normally, famous people have a lot of problems of drugs, I think that when they become famous and they start to have a lot of money they have a lot but they need more. For this reason, only for drugs and parties.
I think that it's a shame because she was very young and she could have a great life as an artist.

A few months ago also died Amy Winehouse, this girl was younger and she also died of drugs. In my opinion, I think that this should change. Moreover, drugs make you grow old and, especially, they destroy your life.

Scarlett Johansson

The other day somebody filtrated some provocative photos of the famous actress Scarlett Johansson. A hacker filtrated her mobile phone and everyboody saw these photos.

In my opinion I think that if you take naked photos after you have consequences.
I don't understand why people take naked photos of themselves. Moreover this is dangerous because the same thing could happen to you or your family.
Famous people are more likely to have these inds of problems, because people take more notice of famous people.
I agree that everyboody should have there intimazy, like all the people. I believe that these types of photos not are necessary so I think that everyboody needs to have their intimazy.

Finally, I recommend people not to do these types of photos because after perhaps you have the consequences like what happened to Scarlett Johansson.

Retired people have been fined for playing cards with money

In Valencia a group of pensioners between 76 and 92 years old, playied between ten and twenty centims at bingo and cards to spend an entertaining evening. Now they have to pay a fine of 600.000 euros for betting money in an and authorized place.

I totally disagree about this news I don't understand how they can be fined for betting ten and twenty cents. I think that is unfair because the old people need entertainment because when they bet money they do it for entertainment. They also pay for the place, office and bar with the money and sometimes they give the money to charities like the 2700 euros that they have given for the earthquake of Haití.

In my opinion, I believe that the fine is too big as it is 600.000. I think that they didn't do anything wrong because only bet a ten and twenty cents and they only did it for entertanment.

A man beheads his daughter of eighteen months in Girona

The other day in Girona a man beheaded his daughter. He said that he did because he was forced by the devil. He committed the murder of his daughter with a chicken knife while his older daughter of seven years old was in the house but she was not hurt. Some neighbors said that sometimes they had seen this man doing things.

In my opinion I think that people everyday are crazy. I don't understand that a father could kill his daughter and I understand even less that he said "I did it because I ordered the devil I to do it. Nowadays there are misfortunes similars because in the world these situations are typical. Everybody thinks that it's impossible but I think that in this times we can't trust anyone because sometimes people are more natural it's worse.

Finally, I hope that in this man doesn't get out of prison ever because he deserves to be there.

Contaminated cucumbers

A few days ago there was a big problem in Germany, this problem was caused by cucumbers. They said the cucumbers from spanish farmers have bacterias but really this statement was false. 
In my opinion, I think that this news affects a lot of people and also the economy of Spain because people don't but spanish cucumbers. Also there are about seventeen people who have died, sixteen in Germany and one person in Sweden. More than 1500 people have been affected by different types of bacteria. 


I believe that in the place that has been most affected is in Spain, although it was not their problem, nowadays people have stopped buying cucumbers. In Rusia they have also banned the import of vegetables from the European Union. 


I think that this problem could affect a lot if the infected food was in the stores and also if the place where cucumbers come from is still active. 

Barça win the fourth champions

The Barça team last Saturday won the fourth champions League again after beating Manchester in the final in Wembley. 
In my opinion I think that everyday football is more important for people because lately there have been  many games in a row and the people has been watching all the matches. 
Personally, I'm happy that Barça is the best team in the world at the moment because I always I've always followed thsi team and I always will think that it is the best team in the world. 
I think that, this sport affects a lot in the world because when one team wins a match everyone is revolutionized. Also, I believe that football has caused a lot of problems in the world, especially, when Barça plays against Madrid. 
As you know when these two teams play there is a lot of controversy in society because people go crazy when these two teams play together. 


In conclusion I think that Barça is the best team in the world not only because they have won but because it is a humble team. 

The price of petrol goes up

Nowadays we are in crisis and that is why prices go up a lot. Petrol is one of the things that has increased more because petrol is essential for everybody.
Now to put petrol in your vehicle is very painful because it is very expensive. The price of petrol has reached its record higuest. 
In Spain the price of petrol increased by 15% compared to january of 2010 and this problem affects in the society.


I think that this problem is affecting us all because just to go work you spend a lot of money depending on where you work. On the other hand I think that this price increase will help us out after the crisis I also think that it affects us more because petrol is something that everyone uses and that the government has increased the price of petrol more than other things.


In conclusion, I think that if petrol continues to increase people are going to stop using vehicles.

Anti-tabaco law

A few days ago the goverment passed a new law, this law has caused a lot of problems because there are a lot of people in favour of this law and the lot of people against.

On one hand I agree with law because when you are in a restaurant or bar eating the smoke pothers you. I think that moost of all it affects the children because unconciuosly also they breathe in the smoke.
On the other hand I am against with this law because I think that the discos or pubs are places where there are only young people you should be able to smoke.
When the goverment passed this law, there were a lot of problems and a lot of people let smoke in their bars because they think that they will lose a lot of money.

I thinkt hat this law is very well for everybody because it doesn't affect people who don't smoke.

LADY GAGA ALMOST UNDRESSED ON STAGE

She was wearing transparent clothing and she took a stage during the presentation of the band somi Precious weapons at the Lallapalooza Festival in Chicago. Lady Gaga threw herself at the crowds after kissing the singer of the group.

I think that Lady Gaga is very crazy, because she is quite a strange person. I don't think it is normal that she takes off her clothes when she is on stage in the middle of a show.


In my opinion I think she does this to be more popular, and she has really done it, because she is the pop princess. A lot of people say that Lady Gaga wants to imitate a Maddona, becauseshe is "Reina del Pop" and they have a lot of similarites and very similar styles.

Personallity, I don't like her but there are some songs that I like very much, for example, "Alejandro", eventhough the lyrics of his song don't mean anything. I also think that her videoclips are very different and strange, but that's why she is so famous, because she is very different from the other singers.

The Trade Unions promoted it as an alternative to chocolate, invalids demanded it for pain relief, and Prince Harry scandalised the nation because he got high. Since then the Goverment has reduced penalties and is permitting Dutch style cannabis cafés to open.


In my opinion I think that it is a bad idea, and it will affect the world because if you begin to legalize drugs finally everybody will be less intelligent and more violent.

I think that it also affects me because when I grow up, I do not went my children to live in this world.
If there are more addicts it willl get worse. I do not think it is normal that invalids demand it for pain relief, because in my opinion I think that are the other solutions for pain relief.

The solution to the problem is that they sould eat more carefully and do more exercise but I know that it is very difficult.
I also I think that the majority persons who are obesity are the Americans because there is a lot of fast food and fast food restaurants. They are used to eating in these places.

In my point of view I think that in America they sould cook healthier food.
People who are obesity should consult a professional person to help them follow a healthy diest so that they can lose weight.
